Jair Bolsonaro was elected president of the Republic in October 2018 with 57,797,847 of the votes, 55.13% of the Brazilian electorate, by the Brazil Coalition Above All, God Above All (PSL / PRTB). Astronaut Marcos Pontes was born in Bauru, São Paulo, on March 11, 1963. He is Lieutenant Colonel Aviador R1 of the Brazilian Air Force, an aeronautical engineer, trained by the Aeronautical Technological Institute (ITA), Master in Systems Engineering by the Naval Postgraduate School, (F-15 Falcon, F-18 Hornet, and Mig-29 Fulcrum), and pilot test fighter jets with more than 2,000 flight hours on 25 aircraft types including F-15 Eagle. Member of the 1998 astronaut class of NASA, Marcos Pontes is the only Brazilian to go to space. He is also the first professional astronaut to officially represent a Southern Hemisphere country in space. Pontes held the Centenary Mission in 2006, the result of a partnership between the Brazilian Space Agency and the Russian Space Agency, working 10 days at the International Space Station as a Mission Specialist, responsible for the maintenance of spacecraft systems and the execution of scientific research chosen by Brazilian Academy of Sciences. He has extensive experience as a project manager and program manager, working on relevant international projects in the aerospace industry at companies such as NASA, JAXA, ESA, Boeing. Miriam joined DuPont in 1995 and has held a number of IT positions in Brazil and the United States as a specialist in outsourcing global contract negotiation, global offshore / outsourcing leader, CIO / Senior IT advisor, Vice President, CIO for Marketing & Sales, and IT leader for joining, acquiring and separating business units for Brazil and Latin America. Prior to joining DuPont, Miriam worked for Transdados, an IT company for Transbrasil, and served as a consultant for several companies in the field of applications projects. Miriam Martin holds a Master of Science degree from the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of São Paulo, specializing in entrepreneurship, innovation and new business. She holds a degree in Data Processing Technology from Mackenzie University in Management from Goldey-Beacom College and an MBA from Drexel University.
Graduated in engineering, with MBAs in Business Administration from FGV, Unicamp and Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. He has extensive experience in marketing and sales, strategic marketing and a focus on consumer insight and for 11 years he has been with Nestlé, focusing on Marketing and Business in different areas. He has lived and worked in France, London and Switzerland. He is currently working with international company teams in Europe and Latam. Nestlé was responsible for the creation of Nestlé's Innovation and New Business area in 2014, which sowed the consumer-driven innovation mentality at different levels of the company. He is currently responsible for the innovation hub and also for leading the company's digital sales and data lab teams. With these teams, it is promoting a great cultural transformation in Nestlé towards a digital journey whose main focus is to identify and meet the demands of the consumer.
Orlando Ribeiro has been with Petrobras for 36 years. He started his career in Campos Basin as an Offshore Completion Engineer and held several Technical and Management positions in various areas, including Completion Operations, Subsea Engineering, R&D, New Ventures and Gas and Power. He was Project Manager for the Cascade and Chinook Development, in the Gulf of Mexico. After this, he was Program Manager for the PROCAP Future Vision Program. In July 2012 he was the Production Engineering R&D General Manager of Petrobras R&D Center and in 2014 he was Subsea, Wells and Facilities General Manager for the Libra development. Since April 2018 he is the Petrobras R&D Center Executive Manager. Mr Ribeiro has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering and the Petrobras Petroleum Engineering course. He also concluded Graduate Studies on Science and Technology management in the University of São Paulo and INSEAD. In addition, Mr. Ribeiro has two patents, is author or co-author of several papers and takes part in the organizer committee for some events in the subsea and offshore areas, such as: OTC, SPE Forum Series Brazil, Rio Oil & Gas, Subsea Forum Rio.
